Kuruye-Alele Lebura Loliya studied Political Science at the Rivers State College of Education. She also holds a degree in Educational Leadership from Roehampton University. She was born into a family of choristers which developed her love for classical music.

Her love for orchestra music made her join the Garden City Symphony Orchestra and later on the Royal Symphony Orchestra all in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. She has performed various works with the orchestra.
