Associate Professor Ahmed Adamu
It is with utmost gratitude and delight we announce that Associate Professor Ahmed Adamu, Pioneer Chairman of the Commonwealth Youth Council, has been appointed to lead the Planning Committee for the All-Stars Ensemble Global Tour Ghana 2025, a flagship initiative showcasing Commonwealth youth unity, talent, and positivity through tourism.
In a statement issued Tuesday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, endorsed by Am. Prince Iwefa Aganaba, United World Congress of Diplomats (UWCD) African Special Envoy on Youth and Convener of All-Stars Ensemble, who also doubles as a co-chair, acknowledged Prof. Adamu's exceptional leadership within the Commonwealth, informing that his dedication to youth development and expertise in global collaboration make him the perfect choice to lead the groundbreaking initiative.

"We are delighted and deeply honoured to announce the appointment of Associate Professor. Ahmed Adamu, Pioneer Chairman of the Commonwealth Youth Council, as the Chairman of the Planning Committee for the highly anticipated All-Stars Ensemble Global Tour, Ghana 2025.
"We are honored to invite Prof. Adamu to chair the global working committee and leading high-level correspondence with the Commonwealth Secretary-General, the Commonwealth Youth Council, key global institutions and resource persons within and outside Ghana, offering strategic oversight and guidance to ensure the success and integrity of event.
"While the Co-chair will support in coordinating international and local partnerships, overseeing logistics, programming and stakeholder engagements, mobilizing sponsors, media and community involvement. The event targets youth leaders and organisations across the Commonwealth, the diplomatic community and government agencies, including the tech community, cultural artists and performers, civil society, development partners and the media.
"The global tour Ghana 2025 event is expected to enhance global visibility for youth-led peace and cultural initiatives, foster stronger inter-commonwealth relations and collaboration to further drive the mandate, mission and vision of the All-Stars Ensemble to use music as a tool to impact the Commonwealth nations.

Ahmed Adamu, a Petroleum Economist and Associate Professor with the Department of Economics at Nile University Abuja, was named among the 100 Most Influential Young Africans in 2016 by the African Youth Awards. He holds a PhD. in Petroleum Economics, specializing in oil and gas economics, from the University of Dundee, UK.
An expert at United Nation’s Global Forum on Youth Policies; Member, Policy Strategy Group of parliament, and the founder and pioneer president of the League for Democratic Youth, Prof.Adamu is the first elected Global President of the Commonwealth Youth Council (CYC).
